What is Health Coaching anyway?

Sometimes I have a hard time defining what I actually do in my work. What I actually do encompasses so much.

Am I a Personal Trainer? Yes I design appropriate programs for specific needs and desires. I specialize in full body movement and recovery, and yet, that is not the whole story.

Am I a Life Coach? Honestly I couldn’t say that I fully understand what one of those do, but I do habit coaching on a CBT model, which is something that can be applied to all sorts of things in life. I focus on health habits. What helps our every day life get just a bit better.

Am I a Nutritionist? Well yes if you want to apply any type of diet to great nutritional habit hygiene, but no if you need to subscribe to a specific diet. That’s not really my thing. I deliver the platform, you build what you need on it.

Well, what about stress management, sleep coaching and recovery? Yes, all of that, in a sustainable way. I want what you learn to last for a long time

I guess, tounge-in-cheek, I could call myself an Architect of Wellbeing. I use evidence based tools to tailor a very specific program to each individual that’s on my team. It’s team work, support, dreams, and results. I have met the most beautiful, interesting people on my path and I think my line of work actually picked me, maybe not the other way around. Watching humans grow and evolve, is priceless.
